Tansir Zaman Asik
Tansir Zaman Asik has completed his MSc. in Water Resources Development at the Institute of Water and Flood Management (IWFM), Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET), Dhaka, Bangladesh. Prior to this, he has completed his BSc. in Civil and Environmental Engineering from the Islamic University of Technology (IUT), Gazipur, Bangladesh. His main fields of research are Climate Change, Remote Sensing and GIS, Coastal Engineering, Coastal Structures, Marine and Estuarine Processes, Delta Dynamics, Flow and Transport Processes, Computational Fluid Dynamics, Numerical Techniques, and Modeling and Physical Modeling. Currently, he is working as a lecturer at the Department of Civil Engineering, Bangladesh Army International University of Science and Technology (BAIUST), Cumilla Cantonment, Cumilla, Bangladesh. He has about 3 years experiences of working as a Research Assistant on different projects at the Institute of Water and Flood Management, BUET, funded by BWDB, CARIAA, DFID, IDRC WARPO, JICA- JST. Besides these, he has worked as a Lecturer (adjunct) at the Department of Civil Engineering, Presidency University, and Sonargaon University, Dhaka, Bangladesh.
